A commitment to cross-cultural learning between Anishinaabe communities and the world infuses every aspect of campus life. Our diverse student body – nearly 50% international – plus the global reach of Algoma’s exchanges, and deep community partnerships all combine to give our grads invaluable cross-cultural insights and unique leadership advantages.

Helping individuals get oriented to Canadian culture through a variety of student outings. Also helping individuals through the process of getting settled in Canada from getting here all the way to graduation.

COSTI Immigrant Services coordinates and administers the bilingual International Student Connect (ISC) project across Ontario, providing relevant resources and an appropriate service response to the settlement needs of international students and their families.

Sai Dham Food Bank was founded in 2012 with a mission to feed low-income seniors and the physically disabled who could not get to food banks. It is our mission to eliminate hunger from our communities and provide support to our seniors and most vulnerable members.

Seva Food Bank is an initiative of Sikhs Serving Canada that addresses the challenges of food security and underlying poverty to spur economic renewal in Mississauga, Ontario.
